Disaster Innovation Research and Teaching (DIRT) meets regularly on the last Sunday of the month at Vogelmorn.

This month’s meet up will be facilitated by Hannah Brackley

Hannah is currently Wellington City Council's Principal Advisor Emergency Management, and also a Civil Defence Emergency Management Local Controller. She will show the tools and approaches she used in her own neighbourhood just south of Vogelmorn to prepare her neighbours.

Stay around to share some food from Smoked and Pickled, 6 pm - 8 pm.

DIRT is being led by locals Sophie Jerram, Trustee of Vogelmorn Community Group and David Johnston from the Joint Centre for Disaster Research at Massey University.
