Vogelmorn Community Cafe, run by the Vogelmorn Community Group Trust, is a cosy and relaxed space to enjoy a cuppa, some kai and tunes.

It’s also your local spot for coffee beans, fresh country milk and house-made ginger beer.

Sustainability is at the heart of what we do here at VBC Cafe, here’s how we are working towards our zero-waste & sustainability goals;

OPTING FOR REUSABLES
- No single use cups, lids or straws
- We have reusable cups available for takeaways
- We use metal straws instead of plastic

SUSTAINABLE SUPPLIERS
- Rich Coffee (Berhampore) deliver our beans in reusable tins
- The dairy milk we use is delivered in glass bottles
- These glass bottles are picked up weekly and reused
- The same is done with Peacock’s Tail Ginger Beer

REDUCING FOOD WASTE
- Used coffee grinds are available to the community
- These can be used in the garden or as a body scrub
- Food scraps are put into the Vogelmorn Compost
- Leftover cafe food is put into the Vogelmorn Pātaka Kai
