Japanese vocalist Fuji Yuki will visit Aotearoa for the first time this April and invites you to share her movement and vocal practice in a special one day workshop.

Fuji-Yuki's 'One Butoh' is a cultural exchange between Aotearoa and Japan, with the intention of creating new artistic possibilities through the collaborative performance of Pōneke based dancers and performing artists.

Come and join Yuki on 9th April at the Vogelmorn Hall for a collaborative movement and vocal workshop which will culminate in a live collaborative performance offered to friends and families of participants and the Vogelmorn community. Participation in the performance is optional.

The workshop will open with a guided movement session led by Ruby Brunton of Dance Lab. Anybody is welcome to attend and participate regardless of their dance background and experience.
