Come and learn, discuss resilience and help make yourself and our community better prepared to handle disruptive events.
On Sunday 23rd of February 2-4pm local resiliencer Rich Hovey will host as we have Jade Musther from Cahoots talking to us about her CRAB trailer, which is a resilient portable electricity supply that can be towed by a bike. It’s custom made for her daily tradie use but would be great in an emergency (especially when paired with her handy building/making skills). We will also be talking solar panels and have the results of some neighbourhood range testing of our Meshtastic radios.
DIRT (Disaster Innovation Research and Training) is a community resilience project with support from Vogelmorn Community Group and Massey University.
