Classes are open to all levels of experience – feel welcome to bring your children along. Yoga mats and bolsters provided, however you may like to bring your own as we can run short on busy days.
Suggested Koha for these classes is $5-$10 as they are not funded. The kaupapa of community yoga is to make it accessible to everyone therefore no one will be turned away.
A word from Ming:
Kia Ora I’m Ming. I recently moved to Aotearoa from Bali, where Yoga became an integral part of my life. I became a passionate Kundalini and Vinyasa Yoga practitioner about 5 years ago when I experienced the healing potential of yoga in my own body, mind and spirit.
Now I’m excited to share the benefits of Yoga practice and philosophy with the wider community. My yoga classes are a combination of stretches, flowing movements with breath and strength development.
Yoga, meaning union, allows us to connect to our most intimate self as well as rediscovering our interconnectedness with the natural world around us. In our hectic modern world, where time often has become our enemy, it’s so precious to allow yourself a moment to just “be”.
Practising Yoga is a beautiful way to bring our awareness back into our body through breath and movement. Stress, tensions and blockages in our body are actually an amazing indicator where to focus our attention. And as we allow more spaciousness in our bodies and minds, the memory of our infinite and true nature becomes clearer and so does our role in our wider community.
