Cultivating collaborative spaces – a talk by Bettina Lamm

Bettina Lamm is a landscape architect and associate professor at the University of Copenhagen and is coming to Vogelmorn.  She’s been working with Vogelmorn Trustee Sophie Jerram -as her PhD supervisor.
Bettina has advised on architectural projects focusing on play and activity in the public realm and will show Danish examples of practice lead research on collaborative place making and site transformation – the development of cultural hubs at derelict sites and abandoned buildings. She will share how she works with students on prototyping new cultural and social functions into former industrial sites.
Bettina will speak about Move the Neighbourhood where a community site was co-designed and built with children. Bettina will question how small scale iterative design interventions can support the development of places and communities.
